My New Favorite App

I entered about 500 books. I was able to scan the UPC code on all but 40 books and easily added those remaining 40 manually. Based on the genre field I was able to create smart collections for my biographies, history, philosophy, literature, business, poetry etc... I created other smart collections based on publishers (Oxford, Folio Society, Library of America etc..) Then I added the summary field to the default columns so that I am able to search with keywords, drawing from the titles, authors, book summaries and even my own notes. Which brings me to the one suggestion that I have for the developers. Being able to search your own notes/comments is such a superb feature, SHOWCASE IT. Put a field to enter notes on the front page. This ability effectively allows you to create your own personal, custom SYNTROPICON!! That’s amazing.
